Expository documentaries are basically rhetorical films and try to persuade the viewer. this usually has a pretty strong argument and point of view. Images are often not paramount; they exist to advance the argument and make it more believeable as this helps by making it more persuasive

Expository documentaries are documentaries that expose a person or a topic.
They are well known for having a commentator, These documentaries speak directly to the viewers, usually in the form of an commentary employing voice over or titles, or even talking over pictures, videos and telling the story or explaining the topic. They also commonly use interviews usually to help back up the point that there trying to persuade.
